what a difference...

....2 years makes. Two years ago today....July 1, 2010 we made the decision to get our finances on track, to pay off our credit cards and to start savings money. Two years ago today we started Dave's Ramsey's Total Money Makeover...best.decision.ever!!! I am ever so forever grateful for the way the words jumped off the page at me and I listened, our ways changed, our wants and needs changed. Treating money the way God intended has paid off. Wow am I grateful. It's been difficult, it's been well worth it now that we see the fruit's of our labor. I see how God was preparing us for what 2012 had in store. I often imagine where we'd be had we not had a total money makeover because it keeps me on track. We're honest now about where our money goes, we are no longer faking it! It is such an amazing feeling to be sitting here, same chair, same computer two years later in a completely different season of life. Oh what a feeling!
